Business activity

Crook and Staple is an online retailer of reeds, reed-making supplies and accessories for oboe, cor anglais, bassoon and contrabassoon, trading since 2011. All orders are placed and paid for on crookandstaple.com.

Age-restricted products

We sell reed knives, blades and other bladed articles. These may only be bought by, and delivered to, a person aged 18 or over, in accordance with section 141A of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 and Part 3 of the Offensive Weapons Act 2019.

Intellectual property

The Crook and Staple name and logo, our own-brand product names, and the text, photographs and instructional guides on this site are our property or used under licence. You may view, download and print them for your own personal use. Commercial reproduction or republication without our written permission is not permitted.

This notice, our Terms of Service and any dispute arising from an order are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Nothing here removes the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies where you live.
